We were looking for a small utility tractor for our farm. We bought this tractor over the internet. Once we got it home it was a lot rougher than we thought. We had no choice but to restore it.
Dale Brown owns this Super 55 which was his father’s. Dale is excited to have a new restoration to show off to family and friends at shows and in parades.
We have restored many tractors for Dennis over the years. This is the next one to be done.
Kurt Aumann’s 1655. Another Grandpa tractor! We learned when we delivered this tractor that Kurt’s Grandpa had many Oliver tractors and this one was his favorite.
Larry Allison’s 1600. All finished and ready for Kevin’s wedding!
Charlotte’s Grandpa first bought this tractor – possibly new in 1952 for his farming operation that he began in 1947. When Grandpa passed Charlotte’s Dad bought it long with all the other farm equipment. Dad worked at the Oliver plant in Shelbyville, IL until it closed. When Dad passed Charlotte and Mitch bought it. What a family heirloom that will soon be dressed in new clothes for the next generations to enjoy!
“Hi folks, Mitch got home without any rain on it. I have a problem with it, you done such a GREAT job I have to take my shoes off before I can get on it, the weather has to be just right for it to leave the shed even. It looks and sounds so good. It looks better then it every did farming with it. We are both very happy with your work. Mitch wants to know what two caps would cost, I will send you the money to mail them to us. Once again, thanks for the great work. I am sure someday I can drive it with shoes on .”
PJ’s Super 55. PJ has grown up with Oliver tractors and always wanted a Super 55. She recently purchased this tractor and wants us to make it the perfect little Grandma tractor.
