Mitch’s 77

Charlotte’s Grandpa first bought this tractor – possibly new in 1952 for his farming operation that he began in 1947.  When Grandpa passed Charlotte’s Dad bought it long with all the other farm equipment.  Dad worked at the Oliver plant in Shelbyville, IL until it closed.  When Dad passed Charlotte and Mitch bought it.  What a family heirloom that will soon be dressed in new clothes for the next generations to enjoy!

“Hi folks, Mitch got home without any rain on it. I have a problem with it, you done such a GREAT job I have to take my shoes off before I can get on it, the weather has to be just right for it to leave the shed even. It looks and sounds so good. It looks better then it every did farming with it. We are both very happy with your work. Mitch wants to know what two caps would cost, I will send you the money to mail them to us. Once again, thanks for the great work. I am sure someday I can drive it with shoes on .”
